Industry Challenge
The global manufacturing and marine industries deploy millions of miles of pipelines, and the flanges connecting those pipes often leak. It’s challenging to repair or replace them quickly. A spill or spray from a flange or a pipe can be dangerous for humans and the environment, and potentially cost millions. Typical industry solutions include duct tape and cloth wraps. These can wear off easily, contaminate quickly, and could still leave you exposed to all the above risks. Sprayproof was built by experts to solve these industry challenges.
Installation & Use
To install, simply place the Sprayproof around the area to be protected and snap the tab inside the receiver. When the latch snaps, the part is installed and ready for use. It cannot be installed incorrectly. No adjusting or checking is needed for a precise fit. If it snaps, it’s installed correctly. Sprayproof lasts for years, can be easily rinsed off, or wiped clean, and reused again and again.
Preventive Maintenance with US Patented Spray Containment Device
Sprayproof has a Unique & PATENTED design (Patent No US 9,316,337 B2 awarded in 2016) to prevent safety hazards and environmental damage resulting from spills and sprays from pipelines, valves, and flanges. Indisputable insurance and preventive maintenance against loss of material and accidents.
Value Proposition
Sprayproof lasts for years! It is composed of a rugged, yet flexible product based on a unique TPC (Thermo-Plastic Olefin). Sprayproof is resistant to most chemicals. It has a unique characteristic that causes it to retain shape memory. If the part is crushed or disfigured, simply pressing on the damaged areas will make the part return to its original shape. The living hinge and the latch incorporated into Sprayproof have been tested to last for 100,000 cycles and retains its shape up to 300 degrees Fahrenheit.
Industrial Applications
Used in the marine, chemical, petrochemical, municipal, refining, gas processing, food, dairy, and water processing industries worldwide. These leaks develop from
pipe corrosion, gasket failure, seal failure, mechanical failure, and excessive
pressure and, of course, human error. It is excellent protection in crucial
areas where spray or leaks could be hazardous to life, equipment or the
environment.
